Payouts run on the 5th. If your bank takes 3 days to settle, you have it by the 8th. No 90-day rolling window, no ‘invoiced quarterly’.

Most platforms hold your money 60–90 days. We close the books on the 1st and pay on the 5th of the next month. That's it.
Quarterly rate disclosure
Every quarter we publish the per-stream rate — net of mechanical, performance and platform fees — broken out by tier (Free vs Premium) and region.
Zero distribution fee
No upload fee, no shelf fee, no per-track fee. You keep your share of the per-stream rate. We make money on subscriptions, not on you.
What we'll never do
- • Charge an "expedited payout" fee
- • Hold your earnings against future "chargebacks" indefinitely
- • Bury the rate in the terms of service
- • Move you to a worse tier without notice
Distribution
Already a distributor? You're already on us.
If your music is on Spotify, Apple Music or YouTube via DistroKid, TuneCore, Believe, ONErpm, AWAL, or any major distributor, it's almost certainly on Ngoma already. Sign in, claim your profile, you're done.
Through a distributor
- Search for your name on Ngoma. If you find your tracks, you're already here.
- Sign up with the email your distributor has on file.
- Submit a verification request from the artist page — we approve within 48h.
- Your dashboard activates on approval. Payouts start the following month.
Independent (no distributor)
- Apply directly. We accept WAV, FLAC, and high-bitrate AAC.
- One contract, plain English. You keep all your master rights.
- Upload as many singles, EPs, and albums as you want — zero per-release fee.
- Same dashboard, same monthly payouts as everyone else.
Currently licensed to operate across 26 African countries and the diaspora. New territories roll out by quarter.
